PARENT VISAS

PARENT VISAS   Contributory Parent (Temporary)   This category is for parents who have at least half of their children settled and living permanently in Australia or more children living permanently in Australia than any other single country.   Each parent is required to pay 60% of the 2nd Visa Application Charge before the provisional visas are granted but must pay the remaining 40% and Assurance of Support bond within two years in order to be granted a permanent visa.   Contributory Parent (Migrant)   This category is for parents who have at least half of their children settled and living permanently in Australia or more children living permanently in Australia than any other single country.   This visa class is permanent and is subject to a refundable Assurance of Support bond of A$10,000 for the primary applicant and if applicable A$4,000 for the spouse plus payment of a 2nd visa application charge of A$29,300 (per adult) before the visa is granted.   << Back   Contributory Aged Parent (Temp.)   This is a temporary visa valid for two years. If you hold this visa you can apply for the permanent Contributory Aged Parent permanent residence visa.   Contributory Aged Parent (Migrant)   A permanent visa for aged parents with children living in Australia. This visa costs more than the aged parent visa but is generally processed faster.   Aged Parent (Migrant)   A permanent visa for aged parents to remain in Australia.
