This category is for applicants who are able to give substantial and continuing assistance to an Australaian relative (or member of their family) who has a medical condition that is causing physical intellectual or sensory impairment of their ability to attend to the practical aspects of daily life.
• Aged Dependant Relative
This category is for applicants who are a wholly or substantially dependent on their Australian relative for financial support for the basic needs of food, shelter and clothing, or because they have a disability which prevents them from working. |
• Last Remaining Relative
This category is for applicants whose parents, brothers, sisters, adult children or non-dependent minor children (or step-equivalents) are usually resident in Australia on a permanent basis and are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens.
